LOA students are blessed with the biggest collections of books. The school’s library has over 40000 books, periodicals, DVD’s, films and recorded music for use of teachers and students. More than 15 periodicals are subscribed along with the numerous magazines for students. Library books are organized aesthetically, and children can watch videos on computers in library. School library is the storehouse of question papers prepared over the years.
A special page is provided in school diary in which children write the total number of books read in one academic year. School wants to inculcate good reading habits among the students. Students of classes 1 to 12 have regular library periods on weekly basis. Students of classes 1 and 2 use selected library books in classroom itself with the help of expert librarian who helps them to read and understand. Students of classes 3 to 12 have ben offered facility to get the books issued for a week’s time to read at home. They are encouraged to write beautiful book reviews. Majority of the books are in English language, but a good number of French, Hindi and Arabic language books are also available.
